Photography for me so much more than simply trying to represent the landscape in front of me. It's actually a means to heal my mind and my filters from Formatt Hitech are a key part of that healing process.
Northern Ireland Landscape Photography
As a landscape photographer I think it's very important that we feel a strong connection between our images and the landscapes that we find ourselves immersed in. Trying to move from postcard shots to something that means much more to ourselves.
A month of location hunting along the North Antrim Coast. Setting myself a target to produce 10 images over the next 12 months which I'm really happy with. Improving my technique with filters. Becoming an expert user of the software tools for post processing. Battling the elements. Of course to put this into context I'm probably only really happy with around 10 or so images I've shot over the past 8 years.
It's only been two weeks, but already I'm a little bit in love with the light and conditions on the North Antrim Coast.
