Just back from my regular week helping out down at my parents. Tiring week. All I felt like doing was staying in and putting my feet up.

Thankfully I can still get my photo fix without even leaving the house :)

Had been cloudy most of the evening, however as seems to be the case on a lot of evenings, there was a gap in the clouds on the horizon. Time to bring out the Fuji XT1 along with the 100-400mm lens.

While I was (mostly) achieving shutter speeds of 1/500th and above I still enabled the OIS on the lens. This, for me, actually brings an additional benefit in regards to framing a shot as the subject in the viewfinder will be easier to position. The OIS on the 100-400 continues to astound me.

I think you have to agree. Not a bad balcony view, is it ?

Have a great weekend everyone.
